Just down the road from me in Raleigh and Sanford people lost not only their homes but some their lives in tornadoes that ripped through the state on Saturday. Watching the footage from these storms and the aftermath, I wonder, how do you even begin to rebuild after such a catastrophe? Unlike the hurricanes that destroy our coastal cities, these tornadoes did not come with multi-day warnings. People did not evacuate; they did not board up their houses.
I bow my head and pray for those lost and for those trying to rebuild. I wonder what more I can do.
